Explore the beautiful Eastern Himalayas in the cloud forests of Singalila which is home to the Red Panda. These mixed forests are a treat for Himalayan birding amongst other amazing diversity. Thereafter, travel westwards to the foothills of the Himalayas where the Rhino finds its home in the floodplains of the Inner Terai region of Southern Nepal. The critically endangered Gharial also occurs here along with another reptilian, the Marsh Crocodile. Chitwan is also home to a large number of bird species, over 500 species being recorded in the area. Both landscapes are scenic and dramatic.
