He is a total pro - extremely knowledgable, very thoughtful in his planning and he seamlessly managed every detail of my trip to Kanha National Park. He really understands all the attributes that make a top-class safari - picking the best quality reserve and having excellent guides on hand, comfortable lodging, delicious food and top notch service. Amazing experience! Varun planned my trip with incredible attention to detail, taking into account all my requests. He selected top-quality accommodations and guides. We visited two parks: Kanha and Bandhavgarh, and we saw tigers every single day.Thank you so much for this adventure—without a doubt, we will be back! Marius S2025-02-10Verified Great Trip organized for us on short notice Varun planned our trip as we had a limited amount of time and really wanted to see some of the national parks in Kerala. He was very communicative and took into account our wants and wishes, and also recommended bird-watching, as it was the best season for it. We first visited Thattekad, then Periyar in 3 days total. He booked a very helpful and friendly driver for us, Amal. Who accompanied us for the whole trip. In Thattekad we had a personal guide who was excellent for showing us many rare and endemic bird species. Our hotel there, Nadiyoram was beautiful, the best hotel we had in India during our trip. Great food and a lake-like river right in front of our room, which was clean enough to swim in. Afterwards Periyar was beautiful as well, though a little more touristy. We enjoyed nonetheless and were able to see a lot of endemic wildlife like nilgiri langurs, the south indian birdwing, and also wild elephants and many different bird species. Also we went to a Kalaripayattu presentation in Thekkady, recommended by Varun which was awesome. Monika H2025-01-27Verified Fantastic wildlife viewing in India Thank you, Varun, for a superbly organised three-week wildlife-viewing trip for just the two of us. Everything went without hitch. The people at the lodges, the skilled guides and naturalists, our expert driver and everyone we met, were friendly and helpful. We travelled to many National Parks within Gugarat and Rajasthan in the north-west of India - we saw tigers, Asiatic lions, leopard, hyena, wolf, wild ass, many beautiful and migrating birds, monkeys and many more. A flight to the north east in Kaziranga NP in Assam enabled us to see the Indian One-horned rhinos, more tigers, Asian Elephants and gibbons. All round, a fantastic trip! Yash R2025-01-22Verified Gorgeous Kanha I have not explored the wildlife of India, and this was such a memorable trip for me!Varun suggested that we plan a trip to Kanha National Park in order to try and spot the Tiger. We were in India in December, and it was such a stunning place! Honestly, I would not have minded if I didn’t see the Tiger, I just loved the experience right from the driver who picked us up from the airport…he was a local from Madhya Pradesh and he had so many stories about the Tigers and wildlife of the area that our minds could already picture what lay ahead.Varun hooked up our stay in this beautiful picturesque hotel - saccharum safaris It had a lovely cosy charm and it felt as if I was living out a childhood fantasy here. The silence of the night and the freshness of the air was amazing and something to cherish. The staff was very friendly and smiling faces greeted us wherever we went. Our safari guide Narayana was quite a rockstar zipping around the Park looking for Tigers for us, but in truth he was a really nice family man, and he invited us to his home one evening for a cup of tea which we gladly accepted! He told us of wonderful stories of his village and of the Tiger and the amazing behaviour he has seen in his lifetime in this field. It was so engaging and interesting. We had some beautiful beautiful Tiger sightings which I will never ever forget…they are so mesmerizingly good looking, and Narayana's expertise about figuring out where the Tiger would emerge drew applause and high five’s from us!I really felt like I was part of that landscape for a few days and was sad to leave. But my wife and I will definitely come back here and to other wildlife areas of India. Varun has been educating us about this since a long time and we are glad that we finally took up the chance to do a wildlife trip.Load more

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Monkey Business Safaris We recently returned from a truly memorable trip to Kanha – all thanks to Monkey Business Safaris and its founder, Varun. From the moment we messaged him expressing interest in a safari within India, everything was seamlessly taken care of. Varun, being a passionate naturalist himself, instinctively knew what would work best for us and curated an experience that exceeded expectations. His attention to detail was remarkable — from perfectly timed airport transfers and hotel bookings, to securing one of the best naturalists for our game drives, and planning each safari drive meticulously. Despite planning the trip last minute over a long weekend (a near impossible time to get permits), Varun made it happen and ensured we got the maximum number of game drives possible. We stayed at Singinawa Jungle Lodge — a stunning property right at the buffer zone of the park. The hospitality was exceptional, and the food, outstanding. It truly felt like a world-class experience nestled in the heart of the Indian wilderness. Travelling with another couple, my wife and I both agree this has been one of our most unforgettable safaris. Varun’s patience, knowledge, and dedication made all the difference. If you’re looking to explore India’s wild side, look no further than Monkey Business Safaris. Highly recommended! PS: We also had some amazing spottings!Posted on Krutika KhumanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently visited Kanha National Park with my family through Monkey Business Safaris and I must say this has been one of the best holidays we as a family have had in a while. All I knew was that I wanted to go on a safari - unsure of which one - Kanha, Pench, Tadoba, Satpura etc. etc. He shared his honest opinions and was super instrumental in helping me decide the National park we should be visiting. From planning our travel, our accommodation to making sure our dietary requirements were taken care of, Varun has been incredibly helpful in making this memorable for us. Obviously, I was greedy for tiger sightings and that's when he told me that the landscapes of Kanha are beyond just the tigers, they will make you fall in love with the wilderness. Although we did get some beautiful sightings of the tigress and many other mammals and birds, I'm happy to concur with Varun's point of view - the landscapes of the park are nothing short of magical! This was only our first Safari with Monkey Business, I am already planning my next one! Super enjoyable trip. It's been a while since my family and I went on a trip that did not have a rushed itinerary. Just nature, walks, safaris and a slow paced life to enjoy every moment in the forest. Though taking pics is now the easiest thing I did not give in to the race of capturing everything. It was more important to feel and experience it and retain it all in the mind's eye than to document it. I can still feel the forest. We did see the big cat but only at a distance, and that sure has only whetted my appetite to see one at closer quarters. Apart from that the forest itself was such a beauty. Definitely worth a trip. All in all Monkey Business Safaris and Varun Mani it's operator really know how to organise a leisurely wildlife trip. And Wasim and his team at Saccharum Safari Lodge for sure know how to show you the forest best and treat you the best on that safari. Living in the jungle experience is fully rewarding. They are open to any conversation about what can be arranged for the stay and willing to answer any queries one may have concerning the trip. Would love to go through them on another safari. Thank you for making the trip a memorable one.
