Refund & Cancellation Policy

Monkey Business Safaris 

1. Booking & Confirmation

Once you confirm a safari package with Monkey Business Safaris, we initiate reservations with hotels, guides, park permits, and transfers. Therefore, a cancellation policy is necessary to account for the commitments we make on your behalf.

2. Cancellation by Client

45 days or more 85% refund
30–44 days 60% refund
15–29 days 30% refund
Less than 15 days No refund

Note: Park permits and flight/train tickets, once issued, are non-refundable under any condition.

3. Cancellation by Monkey Business Safaris

In rare cases where we may need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disaster, park closures, etc.), clients will be given the option of:

  • A full refund (excluding unrecoverable third-party costs), or

  • Rescheduling to alternate dates or tour

4. Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment method, after deduction of applicable fees.

5. No Shows and Early Departures

No refunds will be issued in case of:

  • No-shows at the time of departure.

  • Early departure or unused services once the tour has started.

6. Modifications to Bookings

Changes to travel dates or itineraries are subject to availability and applicable change fees.

7. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen changes, cancellations, or medical emergencies.
